Here is what… I have fallen in love with the monsoons; all of it: the storms, the lightning and thunders, the rains and the aftermath of it all: cool, fresh air. Don’t ask me how, why or when it happened because I don’t know… I just know that till now I believed myself to be a person who hated the monsoons … but I guess I was wrong.(Hmm, but that does not open my heart to the idea of getting myself wet in the rain. THAT, I guess remains with me.)
The thing is, im pretty sure that had I been an urbanite, I would not be talking about the monsoons this way, because there… it is a whole different story. The city gets dirtier and messier during the monsoons. So, all in all, let’s say it’s for good that I’m not living in the urban side 😉
Ha!! it has started raining!! You don’t wanna miss this!! Now… if I just had a cup of tea …

If I didn’t have to wake up…
Never wake up and face all
I wanna escape.
If I could just go
Without the tears and goodbyes;
Without having to
Change my mind the last-minute.
Some brand me a coward
Others mental …
But I have it all figured –
Sleep over it.
If only I could extend
This short moment of peace;
Of no worry and refuge from memories
From hours to infinity.
The one time dreams don’t have to be edited
And have my wings clipped
In the name of honour.
Oh yes!! Would I give it all
To be asleep and never wake up …
Last week, my family decided to go on a three-day tour to Munnar; it is one of the most popular hill station in kerala (the state i live). It is located on the Western Ghats and is in Idukki district. The name Munnar is believed to be derived from the Malayalam/Tamil words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town’s strategic location at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers.Munnar enjoys a salubrious climate. The temperature ranges between 10 °C (50 °F) and 0 °C (32 °F) in winter and 8 °C (46.4 °F) and 16 °C (60.8 °F) in summer. The tourist season in Munnar is from August to May.
I would like to talk more about the place, but for a change … how about me doing less talking and letting the photographs do the talking? 🙂

I watch Bollywood movies with English subtitles. I don’t know why, but whomever I tend to share this information with, they find this very funny and start Rolling On the Floor Laughing.(ROFL ing).
Is this very funny? I watch B wood movies with English subtitles because I don’t understand hindi . Period.
Ah!!! So looks like another “Friday the 13th” is just around the corner. You know what? How much ever man tries to convince themselves that they are civilized and modern, the right next minute they will do something that contradicts it. This concept that, if the date 13th falls on a Friday is unlucky, began in the west.
We all know that the westerners claim themselves to be civilized, modern and what-not; so its funny when you think about the fact that all the black churches in the developing countries (oh…its just a sort of business, trust me…very successful too) thrive due to the westerners, who visit these countries and pay millions of Dollars for the rituals that are conducted especially on this date. Yeah right!! So much for civilization…
As far as the west thinks something is true…well it’s the new gospel then, I suppose.
So you gonna watch the “Friday 13th” series?? Count me in!!!
I don’t think I can call myself a firm believer in God. No, don’t get me wrong; I am neither an atheist nor an agnostic. I do know that God exists … but according to any religion … simply knowing isn’t enough … you have to keep in constant contact with God … that is exactly what I’m having trouble with. Don’t ask me why …because I’ve been asking myself the same question: “why do I NOT pray?”
The irony about the thing is, I like reading the Bible… whether I’m happy, angry, sad or just normal …I read it… sometimes a chapter or sometimes a whole book.
It gives me peace and clears my mind something that does not happen when I’m trying to pray … But that does not compensate what I’m missing out. I know. But I am trying.
[…]you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (Mat. 11:25)
So, if you ask me: “do you pray daily?” the answer might be just NO … but I do read the Bible daily.
With one more month to go before I take off these HORRID braces, I thought I would give 10 reasons why a person should not wear them:
# 10 : It makes you look ugly: trust for the first six months, you are going to look like an ape.(Literally.)
#9: People who DID NOT notice you having buck teeth will also start calling you names and tease you.
#8: you will have to brush your teeth at least five times a day.
#7: people will get a clue of your menu, because part of it gets stuck in the braces.
#6: biting into the burgers, ice-cream cones and sandwiches will be a long forgotten dream.
#5: you’ll develop a temporary lisp.
#4: the insides of your mouth is gonna hurt a lot due to the cuts caused by the braces.
#3: for one year you will have to learn to bear the pain while tightening the braces… (oh it hurts, I tell you!!!)
#2: it compels you to eat very slowly.
#1: basically it hurts.
